It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY AGNES GRANT formerly of Corbin, NL, announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Daughters: Nora (Pat) Power of Mortier, Nellie (Joe) Manor of St. John’s, Martha (Harvey) Roberts of Corner Brook and Marie (Harry) Clarke of Ottawa; Sister Mary Walsh and Sister-in-law Theresa Farrell both at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank; 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband James Grant; Sons Aloysious and Don Grant; Parents John J. & Ellen Farrell; Brothers: Thomas, Bernard, Martin and Joseph Farrell; Sisters: Catherine Hanrahan and Eileen Farrell.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Burin on Friday, November 16th, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Fox Cove. In Agnes’ memory donations may be made to the U.S. Memorial Caring Campaign, the Juvenile Diabetes Association or flowers gratefully accepted.
