Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on December 3, 2012, Paul Michael Murphy, aged 57 years. Predeceased by father, John and brother, Tony as well as parents-in-law: Triffie and Jacob Barfoot. Leaving with cherished and loving memories his wife of thirty-four years, Beverly; mother Catherine; brothers: Jimmy (Kelly), Gary, Bernard (Elaine) and John (Shirley); sisters: Mary Murphy Watch (Charles), Linda Murphy, Cecilia Molloy (Paul); brother-in-law: Wilson Barfoot (Sylvia). Also, leaving with fond memories, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; as well as special friends Cheryl and Grant Somerton. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and medical staff of 7 East of St. Clare’s for their kindness and compassion. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove.
