McIntyre, Cecil Harvey “Mac” – 83, of Windsor, formerly of Sackville passed away November 30, 2012 in Haliburton Place, Hants Co. Born in Gananoque, Ont., he was a son of the late John Cecil Harvey and Lucinda McIntyre. Mac served 23 and a half years with the RCN; after retiring he was employed for 15 years with HMC Dockyard. He enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. Survived by daughters, Debby Richardson, Falmouth; Denise (Peter) Edwards, Sackville, and his special daughter, Darlene “Punky”, Canning; sons, Darrell (Susan), Enfield; Dana (Marilyn), Sackville; youngest sister, Ruth (Jim) MacKay; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, June and nine brothers and sisters. Visitation was held 7- 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, Sackville, where the memorial service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 5. Burial took place in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Halifax. Donations may be made to the Hants Community Hospital or Cerebral Palsy Association.
