It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Miller. She passed away peacefully on December 5, 2012 at the age of 84, surrounded by her family.

Doris is lovingly remembered by her daughter Diane Miller, son Glen Miller, daughter-in-law Tracey Miller and brother Alfie McKnight, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Doris is predeceased by her loving husband Tom.

They were married in April 1951 and spent the first few years living in various small communities in B.C. Doris and Tom made Kamloops their home in 1964. Earlier in her life, Doris taught at George Hilliard School and worked as a realtor. She was active with the Daughters of the Nile and St. Paul's Church and stayed busy playing bridge. She and Tom purchased and developed a property on Shuswap Lake and this became a favourite place for her to spend time with her family.

Please join us in Celebrating Doris' life at St. Paul's Cathedral, 360 Nicola St. on Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m.
