Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Thursday, December 6, 2012, Mr. Noel Joe (Sr.), age 91 years of Conne River. Leaving to mourn his loving family: sons, Chief Misel Joe (Colletta), Chesley (Mardina), Eric (Madeline), Billy (Darlene) and Andrew (Daisy) all at Conne River; daughters, Loretta (Louis), Eileen (Jerry) and Pauline (Cecil) all at Conne River; twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren; brother, Lawrence Joe (Ethel) at Conne River; plus a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Regina; son, Joseph; sisters, Molly McDonald, Angela John and Madeline John; brothers, Michael Joe (Sr.), Sylvester Joe, William Joe, Matthew Joe and Clement Joe.
Funeral service was held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Conne River with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Conne River.
