Theresa Valetta Merry, 62 of Maitland Bridge passed away May 19, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at her Mom’s home in Princedale, Annapolis County, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Annapolis Royal she was the only daughter of Rita (Delorey) Hearn and the late Lewis Hearn. Theresa owned and operated “Theresa’s Consignment Shop” for several years where she met many wonderful friends. She had many hobbies including refinishing old furniture, knitting, cross stitch, Frenchy shopping, being in her flower gardens and spending time with her family. She was a hard working lady. She is survived by her mother Rita Hearn, Princedale, brothers Louis (Ida), Bowden, Alberta, Charles (Heather) Westfield, Paul (Susan Cashman), Harold, Princedale, Pat (Dianne Himmelman), Round Hill, Mother-in-law Nina Merry, Caledonia; sisters-in-law Judy (Chester) Orde, South Milford, Heather (Charles) Hearn, Westfield, Annette (James) Baker, Clarence, Margaret (Laurie Ford), Maitland Bridge, Janet (Frank) Smith, Wileville, Roberta (Edward) Uhlman, Pleasant River, Barb (Kendall) Selig, East Clifford; brothers-in-law Garnet (Judy), Maitland Bridge, Stanley, Middlefield, Gary (Gert Whynot), Wileville. She was predeceased by her husband Wade; father Lewis Hearn, father-in-law Charles Merry. Nina Merry & family would like to thank everyone who remembered us during these difficult times.
