ARMSTRONG, Theresa – 78, of Bell Neck passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born on November 30, 1934, in Springhaven, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Morris) Vacon. Theresa was a woman of deep faith, a faith that strengthened her throughout her life. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, dedicating her life to her children. Theresa is survived by her children, Susan (Andrew) Doucette, Springhaven; Diana (Charles) Muise, Quinan; Patrick (Darlene) Armstrong, Bell Neck, as well as by five grandchildren, Lynette, Josette, Remi, Ryan, and Celia, along with sisters, Christine Muise, Amirault’s Hill; Alma Squires, Halifax; Anita LeBlanc, Arcadia. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, as well as by sisters, Leona, Roseanne, Janet, Marilyn as well as by a brother, Basil. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday with prayers at 8 p.m. both in H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 14 from Saint Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in St. Anne’s parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Anne’s or St. Agnes Church.
