April 23, 1943 - December 02, 2012 passed away after a lengthy illness at Trenton Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Ontario at the age of 69 years. George was formerly from the Goulds, NL., and is predeceased by his father; Frederick Scurry (1942); step-father, Llewellyn Cox (1974) and his mother; Vera Cox, nee Scurry (2012). Leaving to mourn his devoted wife, Alma Scurry (Copeland) of Trenton, Ontario; three children: Bonnie, Roger and Ricky; sister Louise Walsh (Scurry) of Calgary, Alberta; brothers: Larry Scurry (Bev) of Frankford, Ontario and, Garry Cox (Linda) of Parksville, B.C. Also remembered by many friends, nieces and nephews. Funeral service on December 6th, 2012 with interment at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Trenton.
