It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Beulah Rose Wall, 87 of Sydney, on Dec. 13, 2012, at home.
Born in Dartmouth, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Winnifred (MacKenzie) Sliming.
Beulah is survived by daughters, Janette Mader and Rosemary Wall; sons, Lawrence, George, Tom and Barry; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James, daughter, Bernadette McNeil, sons, David in infancy, Allan and Victor,
sisters, Mary Amelia Berry and Mary Eleanor Barry, stepbrother, Allan Dean.
We would like to thank the VON palliative care nurses and doctors, especially Beth Lathum for their care and compassion over the past several months.
Donations in Beulah's memory may be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care.
Visitation will be held 7 -9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at St. Joseph's Church, Rev. Jim Oliver will officiate. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
