GADER, Najie ‘Norman’, age 84, of Swift Current, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Swift Current, SK. Norman was born May 22, 1928 in Vanguard, SK to Saleh 'Charles' and Shrefey 'Shirley'. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Elaine Gader November 12, 2011; parents: Saleh 1977 and Shrefey 1982; brothers: Mohammed 'Em' 1997, Abdo 'Bill' 2002, Albert 1993; sisters: Rose 2002, Mamie 2002, Rhea 1997, and Emily 2004. Norman is survived by his children: Steven (Shirley), Debbie (Jerry) Hildebrandt, Linda (Hugh) Henry, and David; grandchildren: Colin (Katherine), Andrea (Don), Matthew (Erica), Jennifer (Jason), Erin (Pete), Kristin, Derek (Crystal), Mandy (Josephine), Jonathan (Rachel), Gabriella, Sam, and Luka; great-grandchildren: Conrad, Addisyn, Braiden, Carson, Ella, Mattaya, Micah, Tristan, and Emerson; brother Fred of Swift Current; sisters: Mary Dandy of West Virginia, Haifa ‘Helen’ of Regina. Norman believed in Jesus with a simple solid faith. He knew no strangers, loved to talk with people. He was always very careful with his vehicles and particular with details. Norman loved to swap motor homes/cars/houses fairly frequently. He loved having his family around him, even more so, these past thirteen months since his beloved wife passed away. Now he is with her in heaven. The Funeral Service for Najie was held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of The Open Bible, Swift Current, SK with Rev. Rob Cochrane officiating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. Memorial donations may be made in Najie’s honour to the Saskatchewan MS Society.
