It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne John Curnew announces his passing on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his residence in Searston, at the age of 54 years. Born at Searston Wayne was the son of the late Michael and Alma Curnew. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Christopher & Jeremy, his sisters Sharon Roberts ( Dave ), and Arla Warren, Brothers Reginald and Raphael, nieces, nephews, extended family members as well as a wide circle of friends. To honor Wayne's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Thursday December 13, at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry. The funeral mass was held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday December 14, 11 AM officiated by Father Edward Terry, interment followed at Mount St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery.
