Passed away in the presence of her family on December 23, 2012, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Eric on March 3, 2012, father William, mother Myrtle, and brother Gordon. Leaving to mourn daughters: Shirley (Ben Hicks), Annette (Tony Kennedy); son George; brothers: Jim Cross (Clara), Allister Cross (Dulcie), Austin Cross (Lorraine), Eugene Cross (Maisie), Winston Cross, Raymond Cross, Randy Cross (Jean), Melvin Cross (Verna); sister Cecily Munn; five grandsons: Stephen Hicks (Lana), Gregory Hicks (Danette), Adam Hicks (Stacey), Justin Kennedy and Jared Kennedy; five great-grandchildren: Benjamin Hicks, Emily Hicks, Grace Hicks, Aaron Hicks and Madeline Hicks. Cremation has taken place. Interment with a graveside service for family and friends will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
