Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario, December 27, 2012. Born in Bajoriskei [near Panevezys] Lithuania 1923, emigrated to Bell Island, NL 1937, moved to Cambridge, Ontario 1970, after 3 years in Wabush, Labrador.
Predeceased by beloved husband Leo (2006), parents Jonas & Stefania Dominas, brothers Bern (2001) and Tad (in infancy).
Cherished mother of Dana (Arthur), Doreen, John (Trudy), William and Anna.
Remembered warmly by grandchildren Chad (Kim), Dawn (Christopher) and their father Doug House (Corner Brook, NL); Stephanie (Stephen), Robert and Jessica and their mother Loretta (St. John’s, NL). Great-grandmother of Rainer, Roman, Emlen and Zoe.
Also remembered by sister-in-law Monica McCarthy of Freshwater, NL, cousin Leonas Kairis (Marya) in Lithuania, lifelong friend Albina Kalanta of Gardner, Mass., as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Ontario and NL.
Also missing Nanny is best stray cat ever, Rusty.
Mass of Christian burial at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, 11:00 am on Monday, December 31. No flowers please.
