LALONDE, JEAN-DOMINIQUE - Jean-Dominique Lalonde of Fredericton NB passed away on December 27th, 2012 at the age of 49. Born in Hull, Quebec, he was the son of Gabrielle (Lacourse) Lalonde and the late Bruno Lalonde. He was a dedicated and beloved teacher in the midst of his 27th year of his teaching career which spanned several local schools with the vast majority spent at Albert and Bliss Carmen. Survived by his mother Gabrielle Lalonde, sisters Sylvie-Andrée Lalonde (late Robert LeBlanc); Nathalie-Andrée Lalonde-Pataki (Dennis); brother Jean-Frédéric Lalonde (Melanie), nine beloved nieces and nephews; Sophie-Anne, Véronique, Émilie, Allissa, Celina, Dylan, Karina, André and Julianna.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd. Fredericton, on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM with the funeral service on Wednesday, January 2 at 2:30 PM at Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas Catholic Church with Father Donald Savoie officiating. Interment in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
