Passed peacefully away at her home in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, Mrs. Eileen Edith MacDonald, age 82 years of Harbour Breton, formerly of Gaultois. Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Maureen and husband, Darrell Pierce, at Harbour Breton with whom she resided, and Harriett, and husband, Fred Langdon, at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Quentin (Tracey), Quency (Candace), Tyler and Jordie; sister, Phyllis Harris at Hermitage; step sisters, Ethel and Thanie and their families; sisters in law, Annie Fudge, Eva Fudge and Meta MacDonald; her special home care worker (an angel from heaven), Marguerite Strowbridge, who took such good care of our Mom; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Cecil, on December 29, 2008; brother, Maxwell; brothers in law, Benjamin MacDonald, Louis Harris and Maxwell Fudge; sister in law, Agnes; step brother, Charlie Hunt and step sister, Monica Sutton.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Harbour Breton.
