At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 28, 2012, of Lottie MacDonald (nee Kelly), formerly of Peakes, age 93.
Lottie is survived by her nephew, Merlin Kelly (Thelma), and niece, Elaine Sobey (Brian), as well as nieces by marriage, Rita MacAulay (Paul), Diane Kickham (Tommy), Marlene MacDonald and Betty MacDonald (Pedro Pereira); sister-in-law, Theresa Kelly, as well as numerous grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles MacDonald (Dec. 2011); her parents, Thomas and Zita (Donnelly) Kelly; her sister, Mary McKenna (Jim); and brothers, Joseph (Mary), Raymond and Walter Kelly.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, 2-5 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 2, at St. Cuthbert’s Church, St. Teresa, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Cuthbert’s Cemetery, St. Teresa.
The CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the QEH Foundation Stroke Unit or to the St. Cuthbert’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
