George Georgoudis
GEORGOUDIS, GEORGE - George Georgoudis, 58, of Second North River, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Greece on November 20, 1954, he was the son of Costa and Katina (Panapolis) Georgoudis of Moncton. George was co-owner of Vito’s Pizza & Restaurant in Moncton. He was an avid hunter and offered his services as a guide. He loved baseball, hockey, football and was owner of the Vito’s Slo Pitch team. He was also a sponsor of the Moncton Vito’s Jr. hockey team and the Moncton Football Association. Besides his parents, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 30 years, Shelley; three precious daughters whom he adored: Catherine (Adam Jones) of Moncton, Melissa and Stephania, both at home; two brothers: Jimmy of Moncton and Peter (Antigone) of Ammond, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences from 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. presided by Father Theodore Efthimiadis.
