Hélène St. Pierre

ST. PIERRE, HÉLÈNE - February 1, 1933 - December 2010 - Hélène St. Pierre passed away in Fort Kent, Maine on January 1, 2013. Born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada on February 1, 1933, wife of the late Dr. Charles E. St. Pierre and daughter of the late Jeanne and Edmond Pelletier. Hélène is survived by her four children, daughters Suzanne Daigle (Sarasota, Fl), Line St-Pierre (Toronto, Ontario), Monique Smyth (Moncton, NB), son, Dr. Erik St-Pierre (Rothesay, NB), nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also living are her sister Mrs. Yolande Cyr (formerly of Madawaska, Maine now living in Fort Kent, Maine) and her brother Dr. Louis Pelletier (Shawinigan, Quebec). Hélène was a devoted wife and mother, loved dancing, travel and playing bridge with dear friends on both sides of the border in the Saint John Valley. In the 1990s, Hélène, with her husband Charles, relocated to Florida where she lived until his death a few years ago. She then moved to Fort Kent finding great comfort, love and joy living at Crosswinds Residential Care. She will be dearly missed by all who got to know her and most especially by her children.
The close family will be planning a memorial service in Edmundston, NB. on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 at J.B. Côté & Sons at 160 Church Street, Edmundston, New Brunswick. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed in the form of donations to local hospice services in the communities where family and friends live in accordance with individuals’ personal choice.
