Stonehouse, Orrie Carson - July 16th1938 - December 26th 2012, with his family at his side died peacefully after a brief illness at Bluewater Health Hospital, Sarnia, Ontario. Orrie will be greatly missed by his wife Rosanna (Raper) and children Teresa Cote, Carson & Joy Stonehouse and Gary & Lisa Stonehouse. Orrie's grandchildren, Mitchell, Myranda, Adrienne and Ethan will fondly remember their grampa. Orrie is survived by his sisters, Shirley Speager and Darlene Lambert. Orrie leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Orrie was predeceased by his parents Orrie and Margaret Stonehouse, siblings Eleanor, Henry, Frank and Margaret.

Born in Springhill, NS, and raised in rural Cumberland County, Orrie loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family. A gentle soul, Orrie was a kind man, liked by everyone who met him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In the summer of 2013 a Memorial service will be held at the Millvale Cemetery, NS followed by a Celebration of his life in Economy, NS.
