Passed away at John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on Dec. 14, 2012 at the age of 72 years, Mr. Thomas Edward Compton of St. Lunaire-Griquet, NL. Mr. Compton leaves behind, with loving memories, his sons Craig (Carolyn); Brian (Pauline); Glen (Joan); and Brent (Wendy) his daughters Mae (Sheldon); and Faye (Alasdair) as well as 10 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; two brothers and six sisters. Tom lived to see the loss of his wife Bernice, his sister Betty, his brother Roderick, his father John and mother Alverda. Visitation took place at the Pentecostal Church in Griquet from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
