FONTAINE - Victor Maurice Fontaine - April 20, 1924 - December 21, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Victor, at the age of 88 years. Dad was born in Ponteix, SK., but moved to Swift Current and raised his family there. He started his own business in 1957, Vic's Automotive, which is still operated by his son, Alan, today. He is predeceased by his father, mother, four brothers and five sisters. He was leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife, Jennie, his partner of 64 years and their six children: Vicky Fontaine of Saskatoon, SK, Bob (Marg) Fontaine of Saskatoon SK, Kathy (Fred) Richinski of Saskatoon SK, Gail (Kirk) Schinbein of Cabri, SK., Alan (Cheryl) Fontaine of Swift Current, SK, and Steven (Johanne) Fontaine of Saskatoon SK, and one brother, Maurice Jacob, is living in Abbotsford, B.C. . There are also 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who were the delight of his life. Dad enjoyed golfing and reading, but, he found the most pleasure in his daily visits to the Shop to have coffee with "the boys". He was a long time member of the Eagles Lodge and Royal Canadian Legion. A Celebration of his life was held at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church on Friday December 28, 2012.
