COMEAU, JOHN L. - 1927-2013 - John L. Comeau, 85, residing at Les Residence de Havre, Richibucto, formerly of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, January 10th, 2013. Born in Saint-Louis, he was the son of the late Lucien and late Julienne (Trembley) Comeau. John was an attentive husband, full of tenderness for his wife Regina and she is going to miss him very much. For his kids, he was a model father that always led by example his beliefs and values. His tenderness was admired and appreciated by all his kids. He will be greatly missed. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Regina (Guimond) Comeau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, four daughters; Raymonde (Réginald) Boudreau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Rose-Marie (Jacques) Bourgeois of Moncton, Mélanise Comeau (Claude) of Ottawa, ON, Jocelyne (Donald) Marcoux of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, four sons; Gérard (Joanne) Comeau of Irishtown, Valery (Betty) Comeau of Richibucto, Emery (Délisca) Comeau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Renald (Rita) Comeau of Sainte-Anne, nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. John is also survived by one sister; Marie (Johnny) Vella of Toronto and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, one daughter; Rosella, one son; Léo-Paul, two sisters; Emma, Marguerite and six brothers; David, Antoine, Albert, Frederick, Lucien and Emile.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Monday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in John's memory may be made to Les Residences de Havre or Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital Palliative Care Unit and would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the 3F Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of John.
