Diane LeBlanc
LeBLANC, DIANE - Diane LeBlanc, 79, of Shediac, passed away on Sunday January 20, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on April 24, 1933 in Saint-Anselme, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Elmire (Gaudet) Bourque. Prior to her retirement, Diane was the co-owner-operator of Jason’s Trailer Park as well as the former co-operator of A&D Variety and A & D Food Shop on Cedar Street in Moncton. She was also a seamstress. She was a member of the Légion de Marie, the Golden Age Club and the Institut féminin in Shediac. She is survived by one daughter: Francine Phillips (Stafford) of Lower Coverdale; four sons: Michel (Triena) of Miramichi, Gilles of Edmonton, AB, Albert Jr. (Janice) of Moncton and Robert of Kelowna, BC; two sisters: Jeannette Stouffer of Buffalo, NY and Irene Clamp of Jamestown, NY; eight grandchildren: Jason, Christine, Michelle, Matthew, Danielle, Christopher, Nicole and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren: Talon-Xavier, Ashton, Khrislyn, Jordyn, Corbin, Derek and Shayne; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her many close and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert (2003) and two sisters: Marguerite and Lorraine. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff of O Bons Soins and Unit C on 4th floor of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 413 Main Street, Shediac, on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
