RICHARD, CAROLE RN - (1964 - 2013) - Peacefully and surrounded by those she loves, our angel Carole was called home on this day of January 21, 2013. She is now reunited with her father. She leaves behind the people she cherished the most, her husband David and her children Nadine and Luc. Mourning her death also is her loving mother, Aurore Maillet-Leblanc and her husband Andre, seven sisters and three brothers: Normand (Paulette), Yolande (Clarence), Yvette (Louis), Paulette, Marielle (Peter), Claudine, Thomas (Céline), Nicole (Cédric), Joanne (Donald), France (Lianne). She also leaves behind her father-in-law, Alderic, two brothers-in-law, Paul and Ronnie, and many other loving family members, nephews and nieces, friends and colleagues. Carole was preceded in death by her father Fred and her mother in law Dorina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Matthew's Church, 45 Dollard Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 pm. There will be no visitation but the family will receive condolences at the church hall, from 11:30am until the time of the service. A reception honoring Carole's life will be held after the service. The family expresses its deep appreciation to Dr. Burnell, her attending doctor, and the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital. A special tribute goes to the staff of Ridgewood Veterans Wing (Carole's employer) who considered Carole one of their own until the end and continuously showered her with gifts and moral support. In lieu of flowers, the immediate family will contribute to a fund for the education of Luc and Nadine. Those wishing to contribute are welcome to do so.
