BARTON, CORINNE MARY - Corinne Barton passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013 at the age of 94. Corinne was born in Grand Anne, NB, daughter of the Late Wilfred and Celina (Blanchard) Godin. She is survived by her children, Corinne Nielson of Brampton, ON, Zita (George) Ferne of Cumberland Bay, NB, Robert Edward Barton of Hamilton, ON, Annette Northrup (Mike Munroe) of Chipman, NB, Darlene Gibbon’s (Lawrence Caines) of Minto, NB and Dale Barton of Chipman, NB; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neices and nephews. Corinne was predeceased by her husband Raymond Barton in 1995 and her brother Leonard Godin.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre where the family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 24th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chipman, NB with Father Paul ErZoah-Bebodu officiating. Interment will be made at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery at a later date.
