Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family, Mary Drake (Penney) formerly of Carbonear. Predeceased by her husband Howard Drake, son Wayne (Ocean Ranger), brother Ken, sisters Mildred and Nellie. Leaving to mourn daughters: Patricia (George) Squires and Susan Martin; son Paul (Elaine) Drake; daughter-in-law Martha Drake; grandchildren: Christopher Squires (Angie), Robert and Jillian Squires; David Martin (Jackie) and Jennifer Connors (Mike); Ashley Drake (Colin) and Adrian Drake; Andrew Drake; Brandon and Brenda Wells; great-grandchildren: David and Kaitlyn Martin; Kaden and Calley Connors; sisters: Marion Haas and Joan Turner; brother: Jim Penney; Special friend Olive Burdock, as well as many other family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitation Friday, January 25th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., then on Saturday, January 26th from 11:00-2:00 p.m. Service to follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
