Harold (Jake) Trask, 89, formerly of Digby, passed away January 20th, 2013 at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. Harold was a son of the late Henry Trask and Margaret (Turnbull) Trask. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Simpson, brothers Lister and Ivan and sisters Marjorie Denton and Marion Weir. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served in the R.C.A.F. in the Ferry Command as a Navigator/Pilot Officer. Following the war, he worked for Fisher Scientific in Ottawa for a number of years. He is survived by his daughters Sharon (Gary) Stowe of Vancouver and Debbie Trask of Montreal, grandchildren Chris, Meghan (Mike) and Geoff, great-grandchildren Molli Grace and Andrew Jacob and his brother Arnold Trask of Digby. Service and interment in Ottawa to be announced at a later date.
