Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Agnes Pratt Home in St. John’s, Mrs. Laura (Blagdon) Cluett of Coombs Cove, NL, age 82 years. She was the last child of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Bessie) Blagdon. Predeceased by her husband, Archie (2006), son, Wendall (1983) and, also, her brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn: daughter, Beverly Penney (Tom); grandson, Shane Cluett (Debbie), and their children, Lucas, Lexie and Logan; grandson, Justin Cluett (Nancy) and their children, Cassidy, Avery and Olivia. Also, leaving to mourn, daughter-in-law, Marjorie Forsey (Wayne); sisters-in-law, Millie Blagdon, Selena Vallis and Georgina MacKinnon (Percy); brother-in-law, Stanley Fiander (Judy); special cousin, Edna Cutler (Nathan), special friend, Sadie Lawrence; also many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Holy Trinity Church, Coombs Cove, Fortune Bay from 7:00pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 and Saturday, January 26, 2013.
Funeral took place on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2:00pm from Holy Trinity Church, Coombs Cove. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Coombs Cove with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencers Funeral Home, Harbour Breton.
