GALLANT, FLORA OUELLET - Flora Ouellet Gallant, 89, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, passed away at her residence, on Friday, February 1st, 2013. Born March 12th, 1923 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Délia (Boudreau) Ouellet. She was also a member of the Grand-Barachois Golden Age Club. Flora will be greatly missed by her loving children: Annette Gaudet (Émery), Denise Landry (Armand), Aimé (Marguerite) and Yvon (Diane) all of Grand-Barachois, Ginette Aubé (Roland) of Notre-Dame and Jean-Louis (Louise) of Shediac; two daughter in-laws: Louise Bélanger and Thérèse Gallant both of Cap-Pelé; one brother in-law, Émery of Shediac; one sister in-law, Clémence of Shediac; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Gallant (2012); two sons: Roger and Alias; one sister, Catherine; five brothers: Émile, Henri, Aimé, Gérard and Joseph.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Sunday, February 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 9 a.m. until departure (10:05). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri R.C. Church, Barachois, Monday, February 4th at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Flora, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to the Barachois cemetery would be appreciated.
