It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our loving mother Agnes (O’Connor) MacKenzie, age 89.
Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Dan and Margaret O’Connor.
Surviving are daughters, Fran (Austin), Donna (Raymond), Bernadette (Eddie), Brenda; sons, John, George, Marshall, Austin (Julie); sisters, Mary, Liz, Theresa, Sheila, also 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband John; sister, Catherine; brothers, John and Peter and one great-grandchild.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home 3183, Plummer Ave., New Waterford. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, Jan., 25, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Parish Church Of St. Leonard’s, Mount Carmel Ave., New Waterford with Fr. Doug MacDonald officiating.
Interment will be at a later date. A luncheon will be held at the Carmel Centre next door to the church immediately following the funeral all are welcome.
