Jean passed away peacefully at Delta Hospital on Feb. 4, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Ernst Leslie Kerkhoven.
Predeceased by her parents, Sarah and Bill Calvert and brother, John.
Jean left Glace Bay, N.S. to pursue her nursing career in Toronto, Yellowknife and finally settled in Vancouver where she spent many years caring for patients at Shaughnessy and Delta Hospitals.
She is survived by her sisters, Flora (late Bill), Emily (Wes) and sister-in-law, Verta (late John). She leaves behind three nephews, Cal (Sheila), Stuart (Richard), Loren (Marion) and two nieces, Kathy (Anne Marie) and Eleanor, including grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her many dear friends at The Waterford.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Tsawwassen United Church, 693 53rd St., Tsawwassen, B.C., followed by a reception at The Waterford Residence, 1345 56th St., Delta, B.C.
