Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013, Ms. Verna Lenora Lynch of Upper Island Cove, age 72 years. Predeceased by her parents Arch and Sarah Lynch. Leaving to mourn are three sisters, Gladys (Eldred Drover, deceased), Olive (Ralph Mercer, deceased), Ruby (Chuck Mckeracher, deceased); one brother Graham Lynch (Viola, deceased); also a large circle of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay. Funeral service Friday at 2 p.m. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment to follow at the St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery. Visitation at Lynch’s Funeral Home will be Thursday, February 7th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, February 8th, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
