Lorraine Margaret White, age 55, of Brooklyn, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, February 9th, 2013, at home. Born on July 7th, 1957, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she is the daughter of William Harry “Bub” and Margaret Jean (Elliott) Dearman of Newport Corner. Lorraine worked as an E.A. at Avonview High School. She loved her students and her co-workers, who were her extended family. Lil’s big heart touched the lives of many people. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, she is survived by her son Scott, the light of her life and his fiancé, Candace Wile of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Julian and Lily; brother, Terry (Janice) of Newport Corner; sister, Heather Dearman Macdonald, Brooklyn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Clayton; paternal grandfather, Douglas Dearman; paternal grandmother, Mary Dearman; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Annie Elliott. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 13th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14th, 2013, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Helen Lindsay, celebrant. A private family interment was in the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix, followed by a reception at the Brooklyn Civic Centre, Brooklyn. Donations in memory of Lorraine were requested to be made to New Boundaries (79 Centennial Drive, P.O.
