Passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 17, 2013, Mrs. Lydia Eveleigh of Coley’s Point (formerly of Joe Batt’s Arm), aged 98 years. Predeceased by parents: Archibald and Martha Luscombe (nee Jolliffe); husband Reginald Eveleigh; sisters: Leah (Edward) Coffin, Julia (George) Budgell; brothers: Ernest and James (Nora); son-in-law William Papson. Leaving to mourn daughters: Madelene Papson, Jean (David) Parry, Lorraine Eveleigh (David Hickey); son Rev’d James (Janet) Eveleigh; sisters-in-law: Alice Luscombe, Faye Eveleigh; grandchildren: Dawn, Kurt (Kate), Paul, Jennifer, Kimberley, Sheldon, Leigh Anne, Stephen; great-grandchildren: Rebecca, Emily, William, Mitchell and a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitations: Monday 7:30 - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday 2 - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday 11 - 12 Noon. Funeral Services will take place from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Bay Roberts at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
