It is with great sadness that the family of the late ELEAZOR (LEE) GEORGE of Marystown, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, February 15, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons: Edward, Ronald & Gerard of Toronto, ON, & Nicholas (Krista) of Deer Lake; Daughters: Margaret Ann (Alphonsus Murphy) of Little Bay, Evelyn Burton (Jerry Vink) of St. John’s, Pauline (Christopher Pawson) of Ottawa, ON, Brenda Lee (Clarence Pardy) of Epworth & Monica (Dan Baldson) of Ajax, ON; Sisters – Erma Robinson of Baie Verte & Myrtle Hefford of Old Perlican; Brother – Ronald (Hazel) George of Bay Roberts; 16 Grandchildren & 10 Great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Wife - Judith George; Grandson – Rodney Murphy; Brothers – Art, Ellis & George; Sisters – Mariah & Dorothy.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown, on Monday, February 18, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Eleazor’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
