It is with great sadness that the family of the late CHARLIE EDWARDS of St. Lawrence, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Saturday February 16, 2013, at the age of 49. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Mother Elsie Edwards of St. Lawrence; Sisters Emma Edwards (Holgar Beck) of Springdale, and Tracey (Wade) Slaney of St. Lawrence; Brothers Morgan (Dallas) Edwards of B.C. , and John Edwards of St. John’s; Special Caregivers Ernest & Bertha Cluett of Garnish, and Ann Marie (John) Dimmer of Burin; Special Friend Terry Power of Mortier; Special Nieces and Nephews; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Father Augustus Edwards, Sister Evelyn Edwards, and Special Niece Ashley Edwards.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence, on Wednesday February 20, 2013, at 10:00 am. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Charlie’s memory donations may be made to The Edwards Family.
