The death occurred suddenly at the Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Ont., on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, of Alan (Hav) Ronald Rogers of Borden-Carleton, formerly of Albany, age 55 years. Beloved husband of Coleen (nee MacDonald); father of Cherisse Rogers-Bryanton (Wade) and Ashtin (Marilyn) and grandfather to Kirstin Bryanton. Born in Summerside, on Sept. 29, 1957. Dear son of the late Haviland and Doris (nee McGaughey) Rogers and son-in-law of the late William and Hazel (nee Noonan) MacDonald. Brother of James (Nora), Charlottetown; Lowell (Anna), Borden-Carleton; Charles (Velma), Summerside; Darlene (Art) MacDonald, Shamrock; Lynn (Edwin) Hughes, Shamrock; Lorraine (Dennis) Lowther, Cape Traverse; Leonard (Janet), Cornwall; Alanna (Jack) Wilkins, Saint John, NB; Verna (Garth) Hurley, Moncton, NB; Allison (Jennifer), Belle River; Paul (Carrie), Bedeque; Danny, North Tryon; and Leanne, Kinkora. Brother-in-law of Vernon MacDonald, Central Bedeque; Lloyd (Dianne), Borden-Carleton; sister-in-law of Mary MacDonald, Borden-Carleton; Erma MacDonald, Corner Brook, Nfld., and Patti Anger-MacDonald, Dunville, Ont. Predeceased by sister-in-law Lynn (nee Dawson) MacDonald and brothers-in-law Joe and Gerald MacDonald. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
