CHAPMAN, MARIETA - Marieta Chapman, 90, of Moncton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Born in Allison, she was the daughter of the late Manzer and Annie (Trites) Steeves. Marieta was a retired employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. with 36 years service and was a former employee of the City of Moncton for ten years. She was a member of the T. Eaton Co. Quarter Century Club. and a Charter member of Uplands Baptist Church. Marieta was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Beulah Humphreys; brother, Douglas Steeves; nephew, James Humphreys.
Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with no visitation hours by personal request. Memorial Service for Marieta to be held at Uplands Baptist Church, Salisbury Road, on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 10:00 am, Rev. Gordon James officiating. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
