Thompson, Violet Victoria, 85, of Brookfield passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 in Elk Court, Brookfield. Born May 23, 1927 in Yarmouth she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa (Scoville) Jenkins. Violet worked for Stanfields Ltd. for 23 years. She is survived by daughter Marilyn Comeau; sister, Eula Barnes (Kelly); brothers, Howard (Audrey); Loran (Marguerite). Violet was predeceased by daughter Bonita Heather MacKay; brothers, Wentworth, Leonard, and Delbert; infant sister, Marilyn. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. There will be no visitation or service by family request.
