The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, of William “Bill” Hedden of Summerside, aged 78 years. Born in Moose Jaw, SK, he was the son of the late Charles and Clara (Florent) Hedden. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years Josephine "Jo" (MacDonald) Hedden; sons David (Sheralee) Hedden, Neil (Amanda) Hedden, Blair (Linnea) Hedden; daughter Lisa Hedden (Tim Richard); grandchildren Carly, Rebecca, Maggie, Tyler, Alex, Cole and Lily; great-granddaughter Sadie; brother Lloyd (Shirley) Hedden; and by sister Dorothy Ross. Predeceased by a sister Margaret “Peggy” in infancy and brother-in-law Alistair Ross. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. No funeral service by personal request. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
