It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bartholomew Duffy announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marguerite and 4 sons: Bart Jr. (Sheila) of Ontario, Paul of Ontario, John (Pauline) of Alberta, Pat of Kippens, 6 daughters: Doris (Julian) Edwards of Corner Brook, Rose (Dave) Marche of Ontario, Marg (Craig) Moyles of Halifax, Kathleen (Todd) Hamiulik of Alberta, Pauline (Allan) Sinnicks of Alberta, Ann (Andé) Bennett of Stephenville Crossing, 2 brothers: Junior (Betty) of Stephenville, Romil (Cora) of Alberta, 4 sisters: Betty MacDonald of Halifax, Rose (Peter) Walsh of Alberta, Mary Smith of Alberta, Theresa (Albert) White of Port au Port, 19 grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Julian and Doris Duffy, brothers: Mike, Joe and Richard. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. (family only) and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville on Friday, March 1st at 10:00 a.m. with Cremation to follow.
