DOUCET, JACQUELINE - 1933 - 2013 - Jacqueline Doucet passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital. Born in Rimouski, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Adrienne (Emon) Truchon. Jacqueline was an avid animal lover and enjoyed bird watching, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and walking with her husband. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Pierre, daughter, Maryse (Todd) Nelson; sons, John, Stephen (Anne Hébert); sisters, Denise (Réjean), Geatane (Jacques), Marie-Claude (Gilles); brothers Gilles (Lise) Betrand (Odette); and grandchildren Chadwick and Skylar Nelson. Besides her parents, Jacqueline was predeceased by a brother, Rhéal.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview, (869-2007), on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1pm with Father Allison Caroll officiating.
