WILBUR, DORIS - It is with great sorrow we announced that Doris Wilbur went to be with her Lord on February 21, 2013. She was born on April 20, 1936 in Moncton, NB. Doris was predeceased by her sister Marjorie Saunders, and brother Ronald Banks. She is survived by loving husband Edward, of 56 years; her children, Jeff (Sherri) of Moncton, Andy of Calgary, Steven (Tammy) and Cindy of Calgary. Doris had several grandchildren in New Brunswick and Alberta. She resided in Moncton, NB for over 50 years and then moved to British Columbia. Doris had a number friends in Moncton area. Doris was an active women and gave of her time, most recently she volunteered with Beacon Community Thrift Store Services. She attended Friendship Community Church. Mom enjoyed traveling, shopping for shoes and watching hockey. She was a thoughtful person; who will be truly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 1:00pm - viewing 12:00 to 1:00 pm at First Memorial Funeral Services & Crematorium, 4725 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y 1B4.
