Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on February 28th, 2013, Ruth (Lyttle) Henderson, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aged 97 years. Predeceased by son Charles (2004) and parents Sarah Jane and Charles Lyttle, Ellershouse, Nova Scotia. Left with deep fondness and loving memories are husband of 67 years, Charles U. Henderson; daughter Dorothy and son Kenneth (Cheryl); 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Lynan, Boyd and Lloyd Lyttle (Ellershouse/Windsor, Nova Scotia); brother-in-law John Henderson (Faith); also a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge for making her last days with us here so peaceful, comfortable and very well cared for. The family also wishes to send a special thanks to Rev. Sutherland for being with them and his kind support at this time. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation Friday, March 1st, 2013 at 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
