Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Donald Hayes. Leaving to mourn with great sadness her only son Matthew and his father Andre Spurrell; mother Eileen; sisters: Donna Hayes-Long (Scott), Kelly Butler (Derek) and brother Robert Hayes (Krista). Her former in-laws and good friends Ray and Maggie Spurrell. Joanne will also be missed by her card club girls and all her friends and co-workers at Provincial Court. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Friday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday March 4, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
