TRENTON – Shirley Olive LeGresley, age 53 of Chestnut St., Trenton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 with her family by her side in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of Raymond E. Langille of River John and the late Ida (Caissie) LeBlanc.
Shirley lived most of her life in Toronto, before moving to River John in 1994 and then to Trenton in 2007. She was employed with Straight MacKay Ltd. since1996. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Shirley enjoyed time with her children, traveling, spending time in the sun and with her dog Clyde.
Surviving are her father Raymond E. Langille, River John; son James (Ashley), Oromocto, NB; daughter Brittany, Halifax; sisters: Louise (Greg) Dawson, Hamilton; Leona (Ray) Baillie, River John; Lisa MacAllister, Fredericton; eight nieces and nephews, three great-nephews and two great-nieces; chosen brother Raymond L. (Dori) Langille, Poplar Hill.
Shirley was predeceased by her mother Ida (Caissie) LeBlanc.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, 256 King St., New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Donald Boudreau officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital or to a charity of one’s choice.
