It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald (Don) Diamond announce his sudden passing at the Health Science Centre on February 27, 2013. Don leaves to mourn his daughter Tanus (Terry - his right-hand man), precious granddaughters Terri-Lynn and Tiffany whom he cherished with all his heart.; sister Bertha (Rod) and Brother Jack (Betty). Don was predeceased by his wife Minnie (2004), his parents Bertha and John Daniel, sisters - Annie, Gladys and Dulcie; brothers - Raymond, Samuel, Ira and Valentine. Don also leaves to mourn many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday, March 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at 11:00 am from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted. Don was a quiet man of few words, who had a wonderful heart and a beautiful smile. He will be forever missed, always loved and his memories forever cherished.
