At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, of Hazel Marie Corr (nee MacDonald) of Summerside and formerly of Kinkora, aged 74 years. Born in South Lake on Feb. 3, 1939, Hazel was a daughter of the late Waldo and Mamie (Jarvis) MacDonald. Beloved wife of J. Maurice Corr and dear mother of Brenda of London, Ont. Also survived by sisters and brothers Margaret Fisher of South Lake; Waldo (Marjorie) of Millis, Mass., USA; Eleanor (George) Cheverie of Stratford; Ann Mae (Manny) Goes of Millis, Mass., USA; and Elwin, Souris. Besides her parents she is predeceased by sisters and brothers Mary, Joseph, Dan, Theresa and Bernard. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. At Hazel’s request there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, on Monday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Malachy’s Church Cemetery, Kinkora. In lieu of flowers donations in Hazel’s memory may be made to St. Malachy’s Church Cemetery Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
