STELLARTON – Colleen Grace Talbot, 74, of River Street, Stellarton, died February 28, 2013, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late John Avery and Pauline (Regan) Murphy.
Colleen was a resident of Stellarton for some 37 years. She was an active member of the Freedom Bible Church in Sutherland’s River.
She is survived by her husband Bill, Stellarton; sons, Cal, New Glasgow; Lee David, Stellarton; sisters, Irene (Nelson), Ottawa; Linda (Harry), Hubbards; a brother Ronald (Marilyn), Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter Krista, a brother Carroll.
Her remains will rest in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Alan Klein presiding. Burial will take place at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Colleen may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
The family at this time would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor and ICU for the care given to Colleen during her illness.
