In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful free from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorials in DeDe's memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the Salvation Army.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
